Find Area Code (FAC) is a TSR-capable MSDOS program which can quickly
search for and display U.S. and international telephone area codes or
other custom information entered by the user. FAC performs its search
using any part of an area code, city, state, country or other string,
and shows matches almost instantly. FAC also has a very powerful "fuzzy
search" mode which allows you to use sound-alike, phonetic spellings.
FAC uses a data file which you can modify in any way. FAC can run from
the MSDOS command line or you can install it as a memory resident
program (TSR). As a TSR, FAC can operate in as little as 7K of RAM
using disk or expanded (EMS) memory for swapping. FAC intelligently
supports 25, 43, and 50 line video (text) modes, sizing and zooming the
screen appropriately.
